Dear Citizens,
I would like to welcome you to the Sheriff’s Department website.
The Webster County Sheriff’s Department is a progressive law enforcement agency that serves all of Webster County. We have the ability to house up to ten inmates in our correctional facility. We have modern equipment, take home vehicles and state of the art training. The Webster County Sheriff’s Department further enhanced it’s abilities to serve the Citizens of Webster County by purchasing a trained/certified K-9 in early 2009, without the use of any tax dollars.
We enforce the laws of the State of Nebraska equally across the board. We strive to treat all Citizens with respect, dignity and fairness without exception! We encourage all of our deputies to be involved in community programs throughout Webster County.
I personally consider it an honor and a privilege to serve you the Citizens of Webster County!
Sincerely,
Sheriff Troy R. Schmitz
